 McMinnville Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve the McMinnville, OR area for everything pet related.  Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Michelle Schroeder and her associates:

Sandra Statter DVM

Dr. Statter was raised in Beaverton, Oregon and always wanted to be a veterinarian. She has been a veterinarian in Oregon since 1994 when she graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has a special interest in training and behavior.

When not at work, Dr. Statter enjoys gardening and spending time with her dogs.  She breeds and shows Bullmastiffs in conformation and competes with them in agility as well.  Previously, she was involved in pointing dog field trials with German Wirehaired Pointers.

Dr. Statter currently has three Bullmastiffs (Pandora, Sookie and Karma), one German Wirehaired Pointer (Wyatt) and a pond stocked with Koi and Goldfish.


Sandy McArthur, Certified Veterinary Technician

Having worked here at McMinnville Veterinary Hospital since 2010, Sandy has been practicing as a Veterinary Technician since 1992 and has advanced studies in radiology and sonography. She also runs a small tortoise rescue from her home, specializing in critical care nursing.


In her spare time, Sandy is a semi-professional dog show handler, working for multiple well known
and top winning all-breed handlers on the west coast. She also breeds and shows her own Basenjis, and is a Licensed AKC Lure Coursing judge.


In addition to her already active and busy schedule, Sandy is also an FAA Certified Helicopter
Flight Instructor and teaches ground and flight training in McMinnville.
